Jamie Quartermain drone tel Akko

by Jennifer Munro

Very early on Sunday morning a small team went up the dark and silent Tel Akko. Newly arrived from England, Jamie Quartermaine flew the drone over the site in order to capture it without the shade cloths in place in the first light of dawn. The team were rewarded with a spectacular sunrise! The footage from the drone will be used for the survey of the excavation.

I'm the irritating person who's always there with a camera - wanting an interview, asking silly questions and getting in the way of the serious archaeology. I'm an author, a publisher (Fernro Publishing), an ex-advertising agency owner and Creative Director, a mother and a grandmother. I only do things I really want to do now - building Tel Akko's website with you was one of them.
